The City of Antlers Police Department is authorized by the state of Oklahoma and the City of Antlers to enforce the law, to protect people and property, and to prevent crime and civil disorder. They respond to calls as directed by the 911 service. The officers issue citations for traffic and various other violations for the citizens’ safety and security.
The City of Antlers contracts with Pushmataha County to operate the 911 service. It is operated from the Antlers Police Department, but handles all calls for Police, Sherriff, and Emergency services throughout the County.
The Police Department is headed by the Chief: Stacy Dennis, Assistant Chief: Jeremy Buchanan, and Dispatch Supervisor: Shylor Lawrence.
